SMITH 12-BORE 1886 PATENT SIDELOCK NON-EJECTOR, serial no. 311102, circa 1894, 30in. nitro reproved bold damascus barrels with broad raised tapered matt rib, left flat marked '0' (possibly for grade 0 - 1890-1912 production), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, hold-open toplever, manual safety, action flats marked 'PAT'D OCT 5 - 86 PAT'D JULY 18 - 86', plain action retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. semi-pistolgrip stock including 1/2in. rubber recoil pad, snap fore-end missing finial, weight 8lb.
